GOOD TO KNOW : Franco's wines are much like Franco himself with their structure, decisiveness and strength, but also through their originality of style. Franco's wines come from the Collio, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a few steps from the border of Slovenia, from which they derive their potential and their expressive force. Quinto Quarto Bianco is an orange wine that expresses with genuineness and naturalness the soil of Collio. Franco founded the estate in 1994 and today he farms 12 hectares of vines. The soil locally called “Ponka”, is clay-filled marl which was originally part of the Eocene sea bed. Only very few bottles produced, of these unique wine.
TASTE: the olfactory profile is composed by notes of chamomile, yellow fruits and honey and anticipate a very drinkable and fresh sip, with a mineral and sapid aftertaste. The contact on the skins gives it a golden and fascinating color.
